What can one cook with a solar oven or barbecue?
Solar barbecues and ovens are perfect for all types of cooking: grilled, simmered, or steamed.

Cooking with a solar barbecue takes the same amount of time as with a traditional barbecue.
Cooking with a solar oven takes approximately 50% longer than with a traditional oven (gas, electric, induction, etc...).
Do solar ovens and barbecues still work when it''s cloudy outside?
A full sun is required for the ovens to work properly, but 40 minutes of sun per hour may be sufficient for solar oven cooking.

The containers must be dark coloured (mat black is ideal) on the outside in order to absorb the sun''s rays.
